Student Pirate Profile Nomination

Do you know of an East Carolina University student that would make a great Pirate Profile?

Student Pirate profiles are posted on the ECU website about every 3 weeks, which means we can spotlight about 17 each year. They also appear on the LCD screens around campus.

We strive to achieve diversity in coverage based on majors, class years, graduate or undergraduate, traditional or non-traditional students, and activities. Nominees do not have to have a 4.0 GPA, but should be a student in good academic standing. Nominations must be made by faculty or staff members.

Students should agree to having their photo taken and being interviewed, and respond to email, phone or text in a timely manner.

There may be a delay in getting submissions published as we are continually working through the list of nominees with coverage goals in mind — we can’t do two in a row from the same department or organization.
